Rockland BOCES is seeking an Assistant Principal skilled in working with students with special needs.
Expertise working with students with special needs
At least five years of successful teaching or professional experience
Ability to engage and work collaboratively with staff, parents, community members and other stakeholders
Strong management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Capacity to promote a safe and supportive school environment that fosters the social and academic development of students
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Expertise in curriculum development, supervision and evaluation of staff
