Preferred Qualifications Include: A comprehensive understanding of and ability to administer school state aid and State Education Department fiscal requirements, knowledge of grants administration and reporting, the skills to utilize financial management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel), demonstrated expertise in the school budgeting process, experience in human resource management and labor relations/negotiations, excellent communication skills, proven leadership/supervisory experience and an understanding of capital project financial management and reporting.
The successful applicant will have a NY State certification (or be eligible to receive one) as an SDA, SBA, or SDBL, and provide leadership in the financial operations of the school district and support services. Candidates must be able to contribute at the cabinet level, be part of a collaborative leadership team and support the instructional mission of the district.
