The new Superintendent must have:
Experience as a chief school officer, central office administrator, or building administrator
Administrative skills and success working with staff, students, and community members
The ability to multi-task and to use data and educational research in district planning and evaluation
A commitment to continue district initiative of Quad D Instruction with focus on Critical Thinking (Rigor), Relevancy of Work (Relevance) and Relationships with our students (Relationships)
Effective written and oral communication skills
Extensive knowledge of school finance, specifically budget planning and long term financial management
The desire to lead and motivate staff and community to support and improve instructional program
Courage as an educational leader who loves learning and who delights in helping children develop to their full potential.
