Rye Neck Schools is seeking a well-rounded professional who can exercise decisive and creative leadership in this challenging time. Attention will be focused on candidates who possess an enthusiastic, energetic leadership style; strong communication skills; willingness to be broadly visible in the schools and community; and someone who projects a model of trust and integrity. Professional familiarity and comfort with the responsibilities and challenges of a smaller K-12 school district is paramount, as is an appreciation for the importance of local school culture and establishment of one’s leadership profile within it. Candidates should possess, at minimum, senior-level central office experience or tenured building-level leadership experience. PK-12 teaching/pupil services experience is required. An earned doctorate is preferred and necessary NY administrative certifications are required. Downstate NY leadership experience is preferred, but not required. The school district is a proponent of diversity and inclusion priorities in hiring and welcomes inquiries from all qualified professionals. This will be a closed search process.
